Research
In the studio Crossing Borders Overslag students investigated the border region of Dutch Flanders (Zeeuws Vlaanderen). In a 2-day excursion, they explored the Dutch Belgian border territory from Doel to het Zwin and identified how the border expresses itself physically in the landscape and through more abstract cultural and social constellations. The interrelations between the tangible and intangible notions of the border were documented through a series of maps, representing the anomalies of the territory.
